Hi all,

I have a question concerning the rear blocks on 99 f350. I have seen some of these trucks have a 4 or 5 inch block under the springs and some with a 2 inch. Is there a reason and why.

Some F-250 came with a 2" block and some with a 3 5/8" (IIRC).
The F-350 came with a 3 3/8" (IIRC)
The reason I was told was when I ordered my F-250 by Ford was the 5th wheel camper haulers complained of the height of the truck compared to the goose neck on the trailer was a tad bit tall and interfering with tailgate clearance.
Anybody have a better answer than mine can call BS and discuss further.
I have a 3" front lift on my F-250 and pulled my stock 2" F-250 blocks and replaced them with 4" blocks that were supplied in the lift kit.
I do not have a 5th wheel hitch.
