Just like the title says yesterday they both just stopped working at the same time. But the door locks still work. I checked all the fuses they are all still good. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Generic Electronic/electric Module. It controls the body/chassis electrical components. Alot of the Superduty's had a problem with water leaking past the A-pillar seal and dripping onto/into the GEM. Causes a slow death from corrosion or shorting. It will be the black box behind your fuse panel under your steering column.

before you throw parts at it, take out your switches and spray them inside and out with WD-40...it doesnt hurt them a bit, and it clears out any junk thats in them...i had to do it to my OBS last year and they are still workin great!

I got a new window switch already and nothing? Is there a relay for the windows some where? I really need to get my truck back on the road.

if the drivers side switch goes out both windows quit working, but when it goes it usually pops the fuse as well. if the passengers side switch dies, only the passengers side quits(unless it pops the fuse, then both quit) whether using drivers switch or passengers switch.

Something tells me that it’s more likely to be the master control in turn signal. I lost my rear doors and the passenger side struggles now. 4x4 also isn’t lighting up. Last time something like this happened was the turn signal assembly in the ford ranger. Gonna give that a try.
