I tend to agree. I got more into it yesterday, and found that was only partway empty of gear oil. I got in there far enough to find the level was low and not empty. I will drain and replace seals, gaskets, and fluids.Diffs are pretty resilient, replace the seal and fill the diff. Hope for the best. If you can't get too it quickly, fill the diff anyways if you are going to use the truck. Better to keep the gears/bearings lubricated and leak than to go dry.
