Discussion Starter #1
Yesterday I was using if all day, no issues. Stopped at a few places and the truck started as usual. In the night I again went to start it. But it don’t turn over. I hear the starter solenoid click and I hear the starter click but it doesn’t turn over. Batteries are at 12.3v and the terminals are tight.

What does this sound like to you? Bad starter or solenoid? Any other thoughts?

Thanks for any help

Could be bad starter could be bad solenoid could be bad or loose cable. just have to test start at solenoid make sure u have voltage going in and coming out of solenoid when cranking if not then start there if it does go to the starter does it have voltage while cranking if not find out why if it does probably a starter. with out testing u can throw parts at it all day long and may or may not fix it. Now i am guessing the wire that triggers the solenoid is working since u say it is clicking make sure it is what is clicking.

Give it to Mikey. He won't eat it he hates everything. Hey Mikey!! He Likes It.
