PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I bought a 1997 ford f250 7.3L, i got the starter, and alternator rebuilt on it, but it still doesn't start up on the first try. The batteries are good, I called ford to see if the cam position sensor has been changed but they couldn't tell me for sure. Its in a heated shop right now and wont start first shot. If i glow it a couple times,it doesn't make a difference. BUT, if i crank it over for a second or two, then stop, then crank it over again, it fires up almost instantly?

The previous owner was driving it down the highway and it shut off on him, and he couldn't start it up. He then brought it to a shop and they replaced the fuel pump, fuel bowl, fuel lines, new glow plugs.

Any thoughts? Any suggestions would be helpful!!

Check the lpop to see what psi you have on cranking. My lpop is getting weak and starting to do the same thing. Full psi I have heard is 60psi. I get 19psi in the first 30 sec. Other thing to check is the ipr duty cycle and psi during start up.
