Havent got a whole lot done on the truck yet. Been busy with harvest, school, and bow hunting, but hopefully this christmas break is when im really going to rip it apart. So far just have got a few things done. Pillar gauges installed. Next going to work on the body work. Have a new fender for the one side and just ordered a new cab corner. Im not sure if ill be able to save the rear door or not. Ill post some pictures of that later for some input on weather its worth saving or better to just get a new door. Ive never really done any body work before so....

Think I can save the door? I think that the edge of it is straight, for the most part, but in the one picture it looks like its bent a ton but thats because the cab corner was just flattened. I think...

Well this evening me and a friend decided to try and pull out the door. Was planning on getting a new one so I figured if we screw up I'm not out anything. But for a couple first timers it turned out really good. So I don't even have to get a new one which means more cash for more parts lol

I got the new fender on and now just have a little bit of sanding left before I'm ready to paint. I really want to have it primed before Christmas break is over so hopefully within a week

I'm getting a lot closer to paint. All that's left is to tape. I got the bed pulled. I just got the frame and under cab under coated. Tomorrow I'm going toput in that larger rear fuel tank . And then I'm just waiting on my rear leaf springs to arrive. Went toput the rear lift block in and what do you know but one of my leafs had snapped in half .

Well I got the new leaf springs put under her and the fuel tank for the most part put in, I just am waiting for a part for that. I've also got her all taped up and ready to paint, which I'm going to do tomorrow. I'm getting kinda excited to have it done.

I got the 38gal rear fuel tank put in tonight. I was worried about extending the float arm and getting it accurate, but it was super easy. Soon as I get time now I can start wetsanding and buff it, but that'll probably be next week since I have a college visit tomorrow. But anyways after I wet sand it and buff it how long should I wait to wax it? I've been told a few different things?

Well I made a junkyard run this weekend and got a few things. While I was there I grabbed some o chit handles out of a burb and put them in on all 4 doors. They are super nice to have with the lift. Still have to buff it then I can put it back together. I don't have a buffer and my friend that does has been busy, but I'm getting a lot closer to being done.

The last couple days we had a blizzard so I didn't have to go to school so I was able to get a few things done. I got it buffed. It looks pretty good for the first time I've ever painted anything. It's not perfect but I'm planning on driving it its not going to be a show truck, so I'm happy with it. And I also got my cab lights installed. There the smoked led recon ones. I used them since I like the look a little better than the stock ones and I didn't have any to begin with and had to drill holes anyway.

Tonight I got the front end put back together. I put in a set of halo headlights with hid lows and led highs and wired them so that the lows stay on with the highs. And in the bumper I also put a set of super duty fog lights with hids and 2 led cubes. I also put a black billit grille in.
