that was his backup motor, I have another vid of his a460 block unit that went 9100. This is a 475", cj headed deal, no dry sump.

Another member has one he turns 9800,and hit 10,100when the driveline broke. Again its a 470" deal lol......

And my buddys drag/street car with a crate 460 low compression deal is living after 6 yrs. of street use and several 10.20 passes all on pump. Damn he will not spin it any tighter than I think has a 6200 pill in the msd. he has a new motor with block from engine systems that is nice looking ,I just have seen all the rotating assembly and know it is heavy on them there BBfords. :ford:

That is one good runnin Ford motor there. Sounds real good upstairs like that. Being around drag racing most of my life I have seen a few guys spin BBC upwards of 9500 consistantly and some small Fords and Chevy's go 10,500 to 11,000 on launch. Still ain't figureds out how they stay together....lol. Nice pull and nice truck.

A few years ago here at the local pulls, there was a smallblock ford pullin in the mod class(alcohol injected 650ci monsters). He twisted that thing to over 10000 rpm, sounded great under load. I just could not believe the wheel speed. Neither could all the other pullers, especially when the little ford put the woopin on all of them.
