I replaced injectors 3 and 8. Now I got the truck running it doesn't rattle or shake like it use to. It is just real weak. I rode around in low range for about a half hour trying to get it to work the air out of the systems.

Do you need to change oil right after changing injectors?

How can I top off the HPOP resevoir? Where is it?

Is there any returns on the fuel system that are prone to failure?

I also got a CEL which I don't have a scanner, But since it is running I wouldn't figure the wiring to one of the banks got screwed up.

Wondering about the ICP. The truck is just super weak.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

The HPOP plug on this drawing is where you add oil to the hpop.

Why did you replace injectors #3 and #8?

I'm afraid to tell you that #3 and #8 constantly fail standard injector testing using AE, snap on, etc due to Ford's replacement CPS. An original Black CPS will lower their numbers to acceptable levels but you run the risk of a dead CPS. This has been discussed many times. There is no need to replace the injectors.

well. It's gray. I bought it off international. I hate this truck as soon as it's running properly it's on the auction block. Such a young truck too...
