7.3 Lope at start

I have a 1996 F-250 7.3L that lopes when it starts but after holding the rpm’s up it runs smoothly. A video is linked

I’ve ruled out the icp and idm. I cleaned the ipr but didn’t replace it. Anything else I haven’t thought of? Any help is much appreciated

Howdy, @Dayson ; welcome to PSN!

Sorry, I'm not much on the earlier models, but someone will come in to help shortly!
Check the glow plug relay. On your next cold start try turning the key on and letting it warm up for a long time. Try a full minute then key off and back on for another minute. Then check how it starts. If it's any better, you probably have a glow plug issue. I just replaced my fuel bowl heater and got a slight improvement on my cold starts too. But the relay should be checked or replaced. Even when working, it can start to pass less amps over time and be insufficient to power the glow plugs. I read somewhere that it's acceptable to expect to replace the glow plug relay yearly.
first thing i do when getting a diesel truck in is replace the stock GPR with a stancor. i have never had to replace a stancor yet.
I checked the glow plug relay with a multimeter and it was good, no resistance and pulled the correct volts. Anything else it could be? I’m thinking it could possibly be fuel pump or pressure related. It does it even when it’s not a cold start and have noticed random power loss while driving

Here's a vid of what his truck sounds like on start up, hopefully this can help

I'm also unsure if the link will work or not
