had two 6.6 duramaxs go out in the same week. how much trouble would it be to put my 7.3 in i have a whole crashed f250 for the swap just wanna know if anyone has done it

I have to agree. NO WAY a chevy truck is worthy of a 7.3.

The 7.3L is prolly quite a bit heavier, so you'd prolly be changing more wheel bearings and ball joints than what you already have to do when it has a d-max in it.

Guess they gonna have to pull all the trucks with a cummins swap off the road too.

I would make sure that you don't have any emissions/smog that you have to pass, before you start. It shouldn't be a problem if the trucks are the same year, because all the trucks from that year had to pass the same emissions.
