Went to start the '96 this morning and turns over but won't fire. Last several weeks ago I had a small fuel leak showing up in the valley. A it is around 10 degrees here. Are there any tricks to diagnosing a the lift pump in the valley?
Pulled the filter out and gray and hazy but didn't look like typical gelling. When I turned it over and then opened the bowl it was pressurized but even after doing it again the pump didn't fill it. Our fuel here in Minnesota has 15% biodiesel so that is why I am still thinking maybe geling. When the lift pump fails does it go cold turkey or just reduced pressure explaining air pressure in bowl and no fuel?
