Was driving one day and my 2001 7.3 blew 2 big clouds of blue smoke began to derate the truck pulled over and died. Tried to start it again and no luck. 3 weeks earlier i had injector orings replaced along with hpop and hpop lines. Checked wiring harness to valve cover gaskets. All look good no burnt pins. Looking for help asap.

Need more information on your truck. Is it stock? Miles? Etc...

Blue smoke says oil to me. Have you done a leak down test? Compression test? Fuel pressure?

What does the smoke smell like?

Can you plug in the block heater for a couple of hours and then try to start?

Once again, what does the smoke smell like? Diesel, oil, or coolant?

If you want a new engine continue to use either.
