Wondering if anyone has mounted an aftermarket Transmission Oil Temp sensor on the transmission?

If so, how, where, and what would be the normal temperatures?

Jax,

I have one that I bought from digikey.com. I have not yet mounted it to the transmission. I think it is just a temperature sensitive resistor. Digikey part number is 235-1617-ND. Mating plug is 889-1216-ND.

Since you have the edge cts2. Just buy a temp sensor to add on and you can monitor it from that. You can either drill and tap the drain plug or buy a billet pto cover with a port already in it.
