I went and looked at a Superduty today with a 6 speed. It runs pretty good besides the fact that it needs glow plugs and won't start without being plugged in.

My question is the clutch pedal was really noisy and squeaked when pushing it in and out. What would be the causes and fixes of such a thing? Is it an easy fix? I am an auto guy so I know next to nothing about this issue.

Bushing in the pedal assembly.
Cheap and easy if it's only the one on the arm to the push rod. If it's the uppers then it's a royal pain. On an obs you have to drop the column, don't know about a sd.
There are also heim joint replacements for pretty cheap that get rid of the horrendous plastic bushing and fix it's problems forever.

Alright thanks, I figured it was some sort of bushing or something.

If it's squeaking I'd imagine it's about through the plastic and goin to metal.
You can get away with adjusting and using a new plastic bushing if the metal isn't ovaled out yet, if it is then you are better off with the heim fix.

It sounds like the one in this video. Not a metal squeak. Like when you open a door and it squeaks.
