Owned our 2010 superduty for 5 years @ 247k miles. It has Cracked manifold. Lately it has been going into regen every 50 to 100 miles. I almost always allow the cycle to complete. We pull a 15k lb 5th wheel. It gets 2 or three quarts of diesel in the oil every 1000 miles.
I was thinking of a new manifold/exhaust with egr/dpf delete. Or should i leave it stock with a new dpf /cat converter & manifold ? We love the truck and are concerned buying a newer one will be trading known issues for the unknown. Thanks for your comments
