the bolts and gaskets cost like 20$ A 6.0 has a check valve where as the 6.4 has 2 more holes for input and no check valve. It is worth doing, and very easy. Payoff is more fuel volume and pressure to injectors.
IMO no. ive been running them for years in mine and no issues at all. some people say that ford put them there for a reason bc its a dead headed system. im sure lots will chime in on this that have also been using them for years.
