Was having oil coming down the valley and running down the back of the engine. Close look showed it was a turbo drain seal had failed. Decided to put in a new turbo set and while i was at it, put in some new up pipes during the fix. Well, after removing the stock pipes, which had a delete kit installed, i found out i was lucky and didnt end up with a major cab fire. I heard about this before, but my pipes were all bolted to the tabs and not just bouncing around, but examination shows the weld was cracked and it was just a matter of time before the truck was gonna be in trouble. So when you hear others discuss this as a lingering problem, andnot to do it, believe it because it is real and could destroy your truck.
