I was just wondering if any one has tried it yet?

 

Not knowing much about 6o injectors, but you wouln't want smaller
Huei injectors..now 6.4 common rail opened up a bit maybe.
Just my un -edjamacated opinion

If you wanted to try different injectors, try duramax injectors, or maybe the 6.4 injectors, but plan on a lot of time and money.

Thought about? Yes.
Done it? No...

Aside from issues/opinions about downgrading to 6.0 injectors, the 6.0 injectors don't operate like the 7.3, so the computer would need to be changed. Not to mention a lot of other work to even make them fit, oil & fuel supply, etc, so in the end, it simply isn't worth it...

 

I think the 7.3 injectors work just fine in thereoke:

 

I would love to see spool valves on a 7.3 injector.... well not for longevity purposes though.....

Nice simple path for the oil flow.
But different computer, whole 'nuther can 'o worms I don't want to get in to...
