I posted a while back about a delayed reverse/drive engagement and intermittent getting stuck in third gear. It started to get a little worse so i pulled the pan. Found a little smaller than a dimes size of metal (very very fine shavings) under the opening for the low/reverse clutch assembly (rear of pan). I pulled the valve body, took it apart completely, cleaned it, removed every solenoid and cleaned them, and replaced 2 solenoids (EPC, and intermediate clutch), installed new gaskets and filter screen in the pan and about 9 quarts of new fluid. Also reset adaptives. By the look of things, it looks like the pan had never been off, but who knows really. I've put about 10-15 miles on it so far, and its shifting better than it ever has since i've owned it, and the concerns i had with the drive/reverse engagements and getting stuck in third are gone. What are the chances i saved it? If i needs to be overhauled, i'm going to do it myself.

And FWIW, no codes were ever stored.
