my buddys 03 v10 has the 4r100 (i belive)
this is about my 6-7 time dropping one of these, im at the final stage i took the 6 TC bolts out, & the bell housing bolts. and it will not slide off the crank to drop it. i think the tc is seized to the flex plate or something it wont pull away from it at all, iv triple checked bolts and everything is free. has anyone had any of these issues?

as in maybe they need some heat on them?

You can try heating the bell housing lightly but don’t go crazy it’s aluminum. You likely need to shake the **** out of it and wiggle until it comes free. You can try prying it back away from the engine with a pry bar

i use a pry bar between converter and flex plate to wiggle it loose when stuck.

So, tie a chain to the back of the transmission and then tie it to another truck. Make sure you can get a good running start....

lol i did put only put a little pressure. ended up being the guide pins was seized as stated above.
