Regular steel w/ a ceramic coating would be ideal, but S/S might be ok too.
I think one of Swamps guys made up one a couple years back, anyone else find one or have an idea where to find one?

From what I have heard the H2e works better with the 3.5'' Dp it comes with... I dont know that for a fact but a wise man told me so i believe him

Yeh, I thought it was Travis at Swamps. I thought he had put on a body lift too to help clear it.
I've been told the same thing about the 3.5" dp, but I've since then had my H2e mod'd and I'd like to test and see how it effects it now. My main interest is dropping the egt's, but I'd like to see if it changes any spool up or sound issues.
Years back I had the Banks Power Elbow on a mod'd GTP38R and it was great. No surge, instant spool and no egt issues. Granted, it was DI's hot burn(excellent) and only oem split sticks. The power elbow and its included 4" dp
was a real improvement over the 3.5 dp.
Anyone know where to buy the output flange that clamps to the H2e turbo? I can find some 4" tube and start building my own.

That clamp is available from HYPERMAX for $57.00, They told me they are having them built specifically for the H2e.

Neither Brad's old truck or mine have a body lift on them, it took less than 45 mins with a portapower and a 4x4 block of wood to make it fit in my truck.

Im sure it wouldnt be oo hard to build your own dp, but your gunna want the bends to be mandral so you would have to buy pre bent parts or find a good shop with a bender

You mean the flange? I'd think I could just reuse my existing clamp. I can't belive only Hypermax sells the flange.

Why the larger DP? I barely hit 1400* in the quarter with my stock H2E DP. Towing 10K I can't get it over 1200*, I tried. I was pulling the grapevine on I5 trying to make it hot but it maxed out at 1200* while gaining speed like crazy. Just chugging along up the mountain at 60mph I was at 1000*. Just a touch under 700* at 55-60mph on the flat land while towing.

I've got to get my turbo upgraded. I pegged the gauge today at over 1600* for a few seconds while trying to merge onto the interstate...forgot to turn the chip down. I could smell the heated parts after that.

Just curious, what b-code configuration are you running?
Thanks John, I've used them before, just never noticed the flanges i guess.
Thanks Bill, I'm thinking I might try and build one from scratch. 2 pc maybe for ease of removal.

Best way to do it, I've built two this way and will do the rest the same. Weld a 4" V-Band flange about half way down the firewall length and them you can pull the upper half out when you have to pull the turbo or need to get the downpipe out of the way.
