I'm looking into tuning my 7.3 with 300,000 will it hurt the engine?

Well tuning a pmr engine isn't as big a deal as it used to be. Tuning has come a long ways.
I still recommend the php hydra.

I had 320,000 on mine when I put a tuner on it. What hurts engines is the DFO. (Dumb F**king Operator)

Yeah. I don't beat on my trucks I just could use a little more power when towing.

The part you need to worry about after tuning a high mileage 7.3 is not the motor, it's the transmission. It's not going to blow up the first time you drive it, but dont crank the tuner to its max setting and put it to the floor.

Also, boost, trans temp, and EGT gauges are pretty much mandatory with a tune, especially if you tow.
