How much, and How hard.

Find another 99-04 F350 Dually (Dana 60) get a transfer case & maybe a ZF6 from a 4x4 instead of redoing your's to a 4x4 trans. You'll need to get a diffrent rear driveshaft & punch a hole in the floor for the transfer case shifter.

You dont have to punch a hole in the floor if you get an ESOF transfer case.
If one really want's that system. & punching a hole in the floor is alot easier than running all of the wires & vacuum lines for the ESOF. Alot easier to service by yourself too. I have no problem locking the hubs.

If I dont' just get a second drag/pull truck that's what I would do vs. all the wiring crap! The manual locking
