now I know these 275HP PowerStrokes exist but what is the engine code for them and do they have stronger connection rods be cause I know a guy that pushed over 500HP in an 03
Nope... You have a 1999 with 235HP. Only the 2001-2003 7.3's with the 6 speed trans are rated for 275.So since I have a manual trans. my truck runs 275HP stock??
Powdered *Metal Rods,How much HP will the Powder Coated Rods from a 01-03 hold up to safely?
should read: PowderedPMR = Powered Metal Rod. They are made from a powered materail and forged into the finial shape. The "forged" rods are forged from billets.
I'm not saying it isn't true, the big question is was that 500hp on fuel only or was that the number with NOS? Just considering the carnage that resulted, I'd say he was pushing some ponys.if I make this much power now & add this & this &.......I should have roughly.......
should read: Powdered![]()
