I have the dodge entire wiring harness, ecm, and pcm. Ive found the wiring directions for getting the 24v running in the ford its now in. So I have options.

QUESTION:
Codes, how do they get pulled? The wiring directions Ive found do not use the dodge PCM. If I do not use the dodge pcm, can I access codes from the dodge ecm? by going thru the ford pcm?

I want to be able to pull codes by simple plug in. Ive even heard to use the dodge pcm, and most of the wiring, and have 2 obd2 ports?

Just want to know how I can pull codes down the road! Thanks!

You'll need 4 wires to hook up.

power
ground
in and out

Make a pin out chart for the main connector that goes inside the truck and trace that to the obd port.

You're going to have to wire up a 2nd OBDII port for the Cummins ECM. It doesn't go thru the Ford computer
Have you done this? Or anyone else for that matter?

Not a single person can I find running an obd2 plug on their 24v swap!

Easy as pie. Find the main connector that will be going into the truck and pin it out on a piece of paper. Color code and function. The obd wires will be in there. Then find the wires in the ford and label them.

Cut and splice as you go. one wire at a time down the list.
