I am brand new to this forum and this is my first diesel. Please excuse my ignorance. I'm not new to wrenching I have restored several cars and trucks. I have plenty of experience with gasoline engines just never owned a diesel powered vehicle before. Thanks in advance for your help and patience. I have a 2007 F350 6.0 Turbo 4x4 (dually) that literally vomits oil from the top rear of engine right at the back of the "valley" passenger side. I'm in the process of pulling the turbo off after removing the obstacles. I am sure things will be more clear once I can get a visual. I removed the fender liner and was able to see the oil pouring out from the area under the down pipe from the turbo. I've included a couple of pics (pardon the cobwebs.....truck has been stored in a barn) The down pipe clamp is seen in the photos and it appears the oil is leaking from the "plate" below? Please, any help would be much appreciated.
