Ok guys, I am coming back for your expertise. I have a 2006 F-350 CCSB SRW 4X4. I also have a 7" Icon suspension lift and the 1" TEI Relocation Brackets for the extra 1" up front so in total it should be an 8". My question is...I am looking at 38/15.50R18 Toyo Open Country M/T's or the 38/15.50R18 Kumho Road Venture M/T's. Now from what I have gathered on this site the tires will fit and I should? or shouldn't? have to trim anything? Also, with the wheels I am going to try and find a 18X10 with 4.5" of backspacing. Now with the Bushwacker Pocket style fender flares are the tires going to stick out alot or are they just going to stick out like an inch or less? Nobody really has any bodyline shots of their tires sticking out on here with this combination. Let me know if I am on the right track or not? Got money burning a hole in my pocket. I bought this lift a year ago and I just got the money saved up for the wheels and tires. Thanks!

I don't have 8" (yet). I'm running the ICON 7" with 4-link on the front and 5" ICON springs with 3" blocks on the rear. I'm running the 37x13.50x20 Kumho KL71's on 20x10 KMC Monsters with 4.5" backspacing. I have 1" TEI spacers in the garage that are about to go on. If I'm on an incline and full turn I rub a little. Here are pics of how it sits now:

Here is one of my favorite trucks. Its a little more lift though. Its 9.5" of lift on 38x15.50 Toyos

I like the way yours sits but the only thing that I am afraid of is going with a 13.5" and the flares sticking out farther than the tire. That black truck is awesome and by the looks of those 15.5 's, there is no way you would even come close to covering up a 15.50 unless his backspacing is less 4.5. He does have a big lip on them wheels.

I would go with the 13.50 if there was a price difference in tires but the dealer I am looking at is only $4.00 more a tire for the 15.50 plus I think it would look better with the wider tire. I just don't know if they are going to stick way out past the bushwacker pocket style flares or if they will only be like an inch oustide of them. I just don't want the tire to be inside the flare because then you get the elephant ear look.

15.5" wide 38s are gonna rub as Dan said and they are a bit too wide for 10" wide rims as well. They will wear faster and handle worse and will decrease inward clearance. You need 12 wide rims and a bit more lift. I would go with the 13.5 it will save you money big time even if the tires are close to the same price. Also have your unit bearings and ball joints lasting longer.

So this is what I got so far.....I am thinking 18X10 Chrome Mazzi Hulks with Toyo Open Country M/T's....I am wanting the same look as PTSUPERD's truck when it was lifted...He had an 8" lift with 38-15.50R20 Toyo M/T's which makes me think that I can run them with the lift I have. But I want to be completely sure before I order them this week. If I have to I will go with 13.50's but I love the look of the 15.50's. Also what is the difference from the leaf trucks like Gare's 99 to my truck with the spring and shocks? Does my axles stick out father or do his, and what does this do to clearance issues.

On 10" wides I have seen them under that exact lift before.

WMS to WMS on the 05+ trucks is wider than the 99-04s, so the setup will stick out further on your truck.

As mentioned, handling is slightly comprised running a 15.50" wide on a 10" wide wheel. The Toyos aren't as bad in that respect as some other 15.50" wides.

So, if I am getting this right, 15.50" wides will fit (with some slight trimming?) but they will stick out probably 4" from fender. but with the fender flares they will cover up 2" and PA law is nothing more than 2" outside of wheel well. Does this sound right? I just ordered the rims so I just have to decide on 13.50"s or 15.50'"s.
