I'm currently having an issue with my 2006 6.0 making a chirping sound on acceleration when under load and when first accelerating after startup. It doesn't sound like belt issues, it's a very distinct chirp. Almost sounds like metal on metal. I have a very new KC stage 2 turbo and it has little to no play on the turbine side to side or back and forth. My up pipe and bellows are brand new as well, I couldn't find any cracks in them. I've posted a short video, the sound occurs at around 8 seconds. The truck was warmer so it didn't make the sound near as long as normal. I appreciate any input, I've been scratching my head tearing the truck apart trying to find the sound. I've thought maybe a fan clutch or the tension pulley but the sound appears to be coming from the driver side.

I had a similar chirp. Turned out it was my alternator. Once it got hot it went away. Then the next morning it was back.
