Im sorry if this is a repeat but im new to this site. Have an 06 6.0 fresh build. Has super extended crank to start. Runs fine once started. If you shut it off and restart still extended crank. Did air test thru irp hole. Nothing. Holds pressure for 15 mins. Is it irp stuck open partially? Dont have scan guage.

It isn't going to hold pressure if the IPR valve is open.

The idea isn't really to hold pressure, it is to push the oil out of the rails and listen for leaks. best to do the test w/ hot oil also (and w/ the valve covers off). That said, do you have ICP and IPR readings that say your issue is with the high pressure oil system?

In other words, do what longjonsilver posted. Get a monitor (doesn't have to be a ScangaugeII) and post data.
