So I have a 2004 f250 6.0. Truck started fine after sitting
All day about 40 degrees. Got it up to temp shut it off to
Go into store and come back 15 minutes later and it
Won't start.

Just replaced the ficm
Truck just cranks

Might be the STC fitting?
Maybe IPC?
Hpop?

What could it be and any idea on how much it
would cost or if I could do it myself?

2003-2010 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L Dummy Plug W302908
$14.95 each there is one on each side of the motor pull valve covers and replace. The problem is when they go bad your oil system will not hold pressure could be stc fitting but when they go bad your truck won't start at all, keep a can of starter fluid in your truck it will start if you spray it in the intake until you can get the problem fixed

I don't know anyone in your area but it's a pretty easy fix, if your good with a wrench you can probably handle it in about 3 hour and 6 beers

3 hours 6 beers sounds like an alright way to spend a Saturday!

When I replace the dummy plugs would you recommend me doing
The updated STC fitting just in case?

And thanks a bunch didn't even think about the dummy plugs

The stc will leave your stranded if it fails better plan in 4 hours and 8 beers for that but the fitting and the beer would be cheaper then a tow bill

And btw way easiest way to spray the intake is pulling the filter gauge instead of the filter

Do I really have to comment here and say that ether and glowplugs are a bad idea? Common guys.

Its not a good idea to spray ether or starting fluid on any vehicle with cold start assists, primarily glow plugs.
