Truck was idling in the driveway with no problems. Running and operating perfectly. While idling in the driveway it died. I went to start it and No Crank (no power to starter or anything on the engine). I checked all the fuses and fuse #22 (engine control) ended up being blown. I changed the fuse and it started right up. I put it in gear and it only seemed to have high gear (like 3rd gear or OD) and reverse (tranny had no problems before the fuse blew). Now no low gears at all. I killed it disconnected the batteries let them set a minute then reconnected thinking this may reset things. I reconnected the batteries and still same thing, it started up perfectly but no low gears. I let the truck run for a while then killed it and started it back several times. Started great every time, but still no low gears. Then started it one more time and it ran for about 10 seconds then died. Blew fuse #22 again. I am going to put a new fuse in it tonight and run Autoenginuity on it tonight to see what the codes are. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Truck has 160K miles and is in excellent condition.

The most common reason for that fuse blowing is a short in the wiring to the fan clutch.

Could a short in the wiring to the fan clutch also cause some sort of electronic malfunction in the tranny? Tranny was working fine right before the fuse blew.

It might.

Of course it might actually be the source of the problem. I believe that a shorted transmission range sensor will trip the F2-22 fuse also.

I ran Autoenginuity last night and the attached file is the codes that came up. When I put the new fuse in and cranked it up it is now idling at about 900 rpms and the OD light on the shift is blinking.

The image is too small and when I expand it, the text is not legible.

That time the pics look good - thanks.

Looks like you need a new shift solenoid A (P0750, P0973) or at least inspect the wiring to it.

Also possibly inspect wiring to shift solenoid B (P0976).
