Re: I'm so lost.

I'm sure that you could get all the help you need here if you would just understand that most of us do not have a crystal ball and those that do usually have them in the shop, no offense intended. Seriously, There's really nothing in your post to give anyone a starting point as to what year, what engine, what has been done/what needs to be reassembled, etc. There are lots of places to find parts like the ones you did specify. I personally use Riffraff and Diesel O Rings for most of that kind of stuff on my truck. Others may have other ideas. If you can, even pictures of what you're doing could help get a little more input. Just trying to help as much as I can..........

Re: I'm so lost.

Diesel orings will have most of what u need but need more info on what u are trying to do. I know the obs turbos don't have t40s on them don't think the superdutys do but could be wrong. So what are u trying to do.

Re: I'm so lost.

How about this? Compressor Housing O-ring 03-07 - Riffraff Diesel Performance I'm guessing that's what you need. As for taking the torx bolts out, remember that they are steel and the housing is aluminum, so there will be some galvanic corrosion. Use some good penetrating spray and invest in some good bits. Also, can't hurt to try an allen wrench (hex head), because sometimes they will hold tight while the bits break.

Re: I'm so lost.

I found the other thread probaly should have just continued in that thread instead of starting a new one. May be @Sbluke55 or @tjctransport can move it. I remember the other thread now.

Link to other thread.

Yes now that I reread the other thread and am backup to speed. Those turbos are horrible for breaking tools. I always got lucky and got to make ford deal with them on the ambulances. E series 6.0l suck but the turbos were easy to remove. You may have to add a little heat to get the bolts to break loose. Just be careful as you can quickly over heat aluminum. I got lucky on my obs turbo everything came out like it was brand new.#

Thanks guys. I got the bolt loose from the turbo back in the spring.

I started putting the motor back together a few days ago. Ill post pictures as I go.

Right now I'm looking for a deal on a frobt bumper, upper wind deflector, and I can't for tge life of me find the part numbers for the Damn feed and return fuel lines that connect to the filter housing.

As you can see. I got really pissed at this line

I ended up ordering a rebuild kit. Should be in tomorrow. My turbo is in good shape but what the hell I've come this far so why not.

Obviously I tried to separate the two nuts but they are fused together. Penetrating lube wouldnt even do it .

Man I'm give out. This truck is a bear to work on. Making progress. Called a local dealership about the fuel feed line and discovered that my truck was a first production and had a special feed line which ford no longer supplies. There is only 1 available in the entire us and its in Colorado. I ended up having one made and its pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
