i know 7.3's and 6L u can run 2 stroke oil in the fuel and it lubes and does some nice things for them but, can u run that in your 6.4 with the common rail fuel system plus i know 6.4 only take ULSD

From what I understand if you have a DPF it'll cause more regens as the exhaust will have more soot with oil in the fuel.

Without the DPF? Beats me...

Maybe it's because how expensive the truck was, but I JUST started running power service in mine, haha.

I haven't put anything else other than straight #2, so I can't help there though.

the new engines are designed to run on ULSD so i believe there is no need, but i could be wrong.

From what I've read ULSD was developed solely for the DPFs, but that's just 4th and 5th hand info

I was pretty sure the oil was turned to cj-4 for DPF's. Man i wish i could still find schaffers in the old standard.
