My injectors are going out so I decided it was time to replace, and since I’m going to replace them, I would like to upgrade them. I’m currently looking at 180/30cc full force injectors with gearhead tunes to go with them. Just wanted to see if I should upgrade/replace anything else to support them. Truck already has CAI, exhaust, intake plenums, and up pipes. Was also planning on throwing in a wicked wheel 2 (diesel site giveaway I won a few months back) and an edge monitor for gauges (got rid of my glowshift gauges along with my other pickup) thanks!

Hpop lines, fuel lines, plenum inserts. Pedestal delete. If staying with the oem turbo, rebuild it and get a ww2. @[email protected] corey will hook you up or shop where it’s more convenient for you.

The ww2 will definitely be going in, it’s been sitting in the garage for months now. Don’t think I’ve heard of plenum inserts, what are they? And why the pedestal delete?

I knew I forgot something. I am running riff raff boots. But I will look into the inserts. Thanks

If you have aftermarket intake plenums, I'm guessing RiffRaff since you also have their boots, then you do not need plenum inserts. The inserts are only because the stocks ones are made of flimsy metal that cannot hold up to the clamping pressure. Aftermarket ones should stand up to as much clamping force as required.

Ok, yes they’re the riffraff ones. Thanks! What brand of pedestal delete should I go with?

Got another question regarding the pedestal delete. Read some more on it and saw some guys just plugging (“deleting”) the stock pedestal, would this be comparable to a new deleted pedestal or should I just replace it? Thanks

You can plug and delete the old one it makes no difference. If you have the time plug and delete the stock one it save you some money.

Stop reading into it and buy the deleted pedestal. Make sure the hotside is a Garett so it lines up perfectly.
