Anybody running a compound turbo or '15 turbo in a 2012 F250/350? My turbo blew apart and I'm looking for the best bang for the money. I pull a 16000lb trailer so wanting to upgrade for the torque and power for pulling. Any insight will be appreciated.

It's a '12 F-250 4x4 crewcab SRW. I'm not in a hurry just looking for the some feedback from those that might be running either of these setups.

Not too many people here are running true compounds. An '15+ turbo and HPFP is the best bet with proper tuning.

... When the next engine died, it was decided to install the used (36 kmil) 16 MY engine. After installation, I had a problem with the PCM software and contacted my local dealer for a solution. The truck remained with the dealer for 20 days and was returned unchanged. The dealer’s response was that they can’t help me. I was surprised I asked a Ford dealer to reprogram a Ford car with Ford software to use a Ford engine. The Internet offered to buy a device for tuning to solve my problem. But no one guaranteed the passage of a smog check in California. It was also unclear from the description how exactly these devices changed the software. I don’t like the simple correction of the DTC mask, I do not need to increase the power, everything is very opaque but costs a lot of money.
I had to deal with this problem myself. The decision took a week and I got PCM with software for 14MY body and 16MY engine. This software makes full use of the capabilities of the modified engine and the truck passed the California smog check. No need to buy tuning devices. If anyone needs a solution to a similar problem, you can ask me at PM.
Now I want to find a similar solution for installing a 15MY turbo on an 11-14MY engine, but I do not have a truck with such a need. So if you are looking for this I offer cooperation.....
