Ok so I have a 1000 ft/lbs goal for my truck. I know I'm going to have to spend some money to get this done, and I'm willing to spend it. The idea of having a truck that puts out a solid 1000ft/lbs at the wheels is just something that I really want to do. What I wanted to know is what are your opinions on the mods I need to do to make this goal a reality. I also still want my truck to be reliable and still be able to tow, so I know a lot of tranny work will also be involved. Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thank you guys in advance.

first thing you need to get rid of that edge. you can get a custom tuned chip from one of our sponsors.

Agreed. Come to Texas. Send me a PM with a budget number. I flat lined a dynojet246 or 248 (i don't remember) last year on torque. I'm expecting to window my block using standard forged rods.

Build for horsepower. Torque happens. You know you have a lot of torque, when you start breaking things.

I agree, lets move this to smack.

go with 530 hybrid injectors with 100% nozzles. a Adrenaline HPOP 4 inch exhaust new are intake a differant fuel system and a new turbo. and get jody at DP-Tuners to tun it for you. that will get you almost 550 to 600 Wheel HP. which would be 1000 to 1200 Wheel Torque. ;)

B4 Chucky gets ahold of you and imulsifies your mind give this a think.

Tq is a place on the graph, or curve if you will. Where it happens directly effect max Hp. The higher numercaly the more breakage, the lower at a higher rpm the broader/larger the Hp. Tq DOES matter but not in the way you and most us were taught.

I hope you have a thick skin and not a thick skull as I do if this does get moved. Just listen to what he's saying and try to absorb it.

i have 1200 ft of torque in stickers i don't see a difference in power:confused:
