the guys at swamps carried my truck to the track the other night to do some tuning on it, they got there late but go to make a few passes. the best time of the night was a 8.0 but this pas was a 8.09 @ 84 with a 1.76 60'. the 8.0 pass it got beat. let me know what you think!!

LOL! were not picking on the mustang guys, johnny said they've got it out for him up at that track, its pretty funny. there are a couple cobras with after market superchargers and injected that beat it but not by to much.

i doubt it'll be home next weekend, i'm only coming home for a week and the shied extravaganza will be happening the next time i come home and i think we'll be going up there. when i do get it home i will let you know and we can go down to piedmont and "play".

Ouch....with you running 8.0's on fuel ..I gots some catching up to do for sure.
Maybe by the time you get home, I'll have mine tuned up a little bit. Hoping to go into the sevens by the end of the year. Either that , or start a buildup on the OBS wreck we have under the shed. It should be a lot lighter than my big ole school bus.

yes sir we were it was at indy where i ran a 12.92 through the 1/4 and my 1/8 times were 8.4-8.6, the guys at swamps are taking it to the 1/8 mile track tonight to see if we can get in the 7's, keeping my fingers crosses!!

my one trip to the 1/8th i went 8.003 @ 89.3 with a 60ft of 1.97, that was my best 60ft time on the 37's, the truck just didnt want to get traction out of the hole...your truck seems to do awesome. what does your truck weigh?

they didn't get a chance to take it, they got busy at the shop. the best time it ran was 2 weeks ago with a [email protected] with a 1.76 60'. to answer your question bigr it weighed 6900 without the driver and i weigh 220, so i guess 7100. i'm running a set of swamps 275 injectors and a sledgehammer turbo, it has hardened pushrods stiffer valve springs, 4" turbo back, afe stage 2 intake, aeromotive a1000 fuel pump with reg. fuel return, swamps gen 3 oil pump and a fully built bts tranny. yea man, i'm running a stock longblock for now, hopefully this winter we can build it, if the $ allows it!! their defenatly taking it this friday night so i will keep ya'll posted!

it runs alright to have a stock long block in it, i'd like to build a short block this winter. are you going to be at shieds in a couple weeks? what 1/4 mile times are you running?

i'd like to get a dually but not to race, i need a tow pig. i'll put small stuff in it for GOOD daily driving and towing around. lets run heads up on the first one, with a 1.6 60' you'll have me outta the hole. the guys are taking it to the track tonight to see how the new stuff does, i'll keep you posted.

when i ran the [email protected] 1/4 it had a 8.40something 1/8, it fell on its nose at about the 1000ft mark. the truck needs some more topend, hopefully we've got that figured out, we'll find out at shieds.

Hahahhah... I only got a 1.78 60 foot. It might have a 1.65 something 60 foot in it later on this month. We'll see in a week or two.
Might need more spray!
