Not sure if this is the right spot to post this or not. Truck is a fully deleted studded 06 with 99k miles on it. Religiously maintained never skimp on service. Noticed today on my way to work my turbo seemed to be working harder than usual (higher than usual psi) under normal load. When letting off the throttle you can hear a slight howl noise right before the "fart"! Never had this noise happen before. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Also VGT on SCT x4 seemed to be okay and moving.

I’d start with removing and cleaning the ebp sensor and tube. I had a similar problem with my 06 and this helped a great deal. I eventually had to pull the turbo and clean the vanes and unison ring.

@mastrkee that's exactly what it was. Realized it right after I posted this and got in my truck!
