Hey guys, i'm new to diesels and need some help. My 2006 6.0 started running really rough started to bog down, and die on me. Here is the story Drove home from work late last night and noticed that at low rpm's the truck shook and ran really rough. When I made it to highway speeds (75) it seemed to correct itself, until I slowed down to a stop then it got worse. The fuel was kinda low less than 1/4 tank roughly 60 miles left on the tank. The plan was to fill up in the morning. I was able to limp the truck home and park it. I contributed the rough ride to possibly having a bad fuel gauge and was extremely low on fuel. Well this morning I went to get fuel and the truck ran rough die less than 1 mile from the house. I eventually got it to the fuel station filled it completely up, it started right up ran rough momentarily then corrected itself again. I did notice on the way home the truck ran faster than normal. Barely pressing the petal it seemed to take off down the road. I tried to take it for another ride to see if the problem was still there and it got worse. I had no power from a complete stop. The load was to much for the truck so it died again. I did some research and it seemed to be the FICM was the issue. I put voltage tester on the FICM, with the engine off there was 11.9 at the bottom screw, with the motor running there 48.6, seems to be working fine. Are there any suggestions where I should be looking into? This is my only vehicle and need to be back on the road as soon as possible. Thanks for any help I can get!

Is the truck bulletproofed? I'm no expert in the field of FICM issues, the internet has the answers you seek. Sounds like a bad injector at first but if you're sure it's the FICM then google is you best friend.
