I know the backspacing is different. What is the least expensive way to make them fit my 01? I really want to go with the factory wheels and tires. I know I have to get spacers and order them with the correct threaded studs to accept the factory lug nuts from the o8 so that I can run the factory center caps. What is the best place to get the spacers besides ordering the 600.00 ones? Has anyone else done this coversion? Can someone post some pics of these wheels on there truck with spacers to see how much they stick out? How thick must the spacers be? Any help would be greatly appreciated becouse I have found a few sets and want to jump on them if possible Thanks.

Got my 20' factory five spoke wheels today. 06 Lariat same as the king ranch just different center caps. The bolt pattern is actually the same the difference is the stud thread and they will rub on my front springs lightly until the spacers are installed. Any suggestions on where to get them?

Yep, both are 8x170mm bolt pattern.
99-02s use 14mmx2.0lugs
03+ use 14mmx1.5 lugs.

05+ have more backspacing since the axles are wider.

For spacers check with Jesse at FarmboyFabrications.com
He runs some and knows who makes some quality ones.

Ive got the factory 05 factory 20's on my 2000 2x4, and they rub as well, but otherwise work and look great, but they really need some spacers.

Thanks I found some with Fred Goeske but they are 600.00 for 2 pairs. They are hubcenteric. However I found some on ebay also last night They are also hubcentric and they are 139.00 each pair. The only difference is basically they are for an 06 with the 1.5 thread, but the lugnuts to bolt them to my truck will be 2.0. They will be 2" thick and best of all they are hubcenteric therefore I will be able o run the factory 06 lugnuts and centercaps. I am going to talk to the company from ebay tommorrow over the phone to varify everything but it looks like I may be ordering them tomorrow from them.

I was debating on buying the 20" harley Rims for my 00' but researching I found out about this hubcentric backspacing issue. Adding spacer though, is that safe with a modified truck. I only have small stuff done to it, but that last thing I need is to sheer off the lugs and go flipping down the highway... Any help with this issue would also help me.

I don't think it affects the saftey that much since you are attatching the spacers to you tuck with eight lug nuts then attatching your wheel to the spacer using 8 more lugnuts. Basically it sandwhices the spacers in between the wheel and bub pretty tight. I ran some spacers on my 94 Cobra in front to clear that brake callipers with the runners. My car ran hight 10 and I never had any issues.

spacers really are not that bad, its just that some shops dont like them because its somehting else that can make the wheel not sit flush on the hub. just make sure both surfaces are clean and smooth and make sure to double check the torgue on the spacer and wheel after a couple hundred miles. better safe than sorry

I got the spacers in and installed my wheels today. They look great. ( In my opinion) They actually sit very nice and flush because of the 2" spacers. I will try to post pics as soon as I figure out how to host them unless I can email them to someone to host them for me Let me know.
