While driving down the road the truck just shut off on me no studdering or rpm surge, got it towed home and began diagnosing the issue. Spraying ether into the intake cause the motor to almost lock up, so I had to pull the glow plugs and unlock the motor. I had an extra icp/ipr sensors so I replaced both did nothing, screen on old ipr was good icp sensor had oil in it so I replaced pig tail and sensor also finding the pigtail for ipr was melted so I replaced that too nothing. I used my ScanGauge to read icp/ipr when cranking with low batteries I was able to achieve 700 icp/50% ipr fairly quick, my truck is not reading rpms on gauge cluster and was pulling a cam sensor code before it shut off on me so I replaced that along with the ficm. My truck is acting as if it doesn’t even realize it’s trying to start the turbo doesn’t spin at all while cranking and My old 7.3 would damn near suck your arm into it. I’m only 18 just got into working on these trucks anything helps

rpm indication comes from cranks sensor, not cam sensor.
