History
I bought the vehicle used December 2016 in Wisconsin, dealer said everthing was great. Had no service history, check engine light was "fixed" supposedly, previous owner had unplugged egr. Asked if head gasket issues, if studs changed, turbo ped, glow plugs and injectors replaced or load tested. Not much help, bought vehicle for a good price, body clean and motor appeared solid. Its the 6.0 so I knew I would be spending some money to bulletproof. Just put about $7,000 into motor work and am having issues when vehicle under load. idles rough when stopped at lights, then sluggish acceleration, vehicle just stopped running last night, wasn't getting fuel. Changed out fuel filters, ran seafoam after draining diesel and filling chamber with seafoam. Bled and fired it up according to steps, ran better than ever for 1 day. Yesterday died, at acceleration is really rough and shakes, concerned with possible injector issues, bad diesel possibly or cleaning everything out since truck never run hard lots of crap in tank and injectors plugged. Wondering if fuel pump bad, injection control module? It doesn't seem to be getting fuel,,,after I got back from mechanic it ran great for a week but now really rough. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON
