Can anyone who has installed a 6 leaker IC in a 7.3 say 2001 please tell
me what all is required? Are there any mods? Please help me so I don't
get into this and find a major hold up.

Thanks

Gosh guys this is great and I thank you for the quick replys. I will check out
the hose size and order one before I get into the project.

Thank you all for the help.

Also make sure you do not kink any of your cooler lines. Unbolt your cooler and leave it unbolted until you get the new IC in place and you should be able to bolt back up in the same holes. those two cooler lines seem to be the only things that really get in the way.

re: tranny lines
only on a few trucks but seems like they were o1's
also joe aka ..cspid put one on his truck i believe I think he had to adjust his lines a lil.

good idea about the tranny cooler, if you cant get a 6.0 a v10 is still a great improvement and 1/3 the price.

I just made a bracket that lowered both the tranny and the PS coolers...

I also just extened the passanger side IC tube rather then use a new boot.

I want to thank you all, I appreciate the help. I measured the tubes.

passenger tube 3" Passenger IC tube 3 1/4" plastic.

Drivers tube kept comming up 3 1/8" with caliper? But the I/C tube 3" plastic.

I will order the correct connecting hoses and modify the Trans cooler bracket
if I can not find a 6.0 trans cooler.

Thanks for all the help. I don't intend to step up the power as the DP is for towing my trailer for my 10 sec street stang.
