IA Newbie

Hi to all, I am new to both this site and to powerstrokes. I need some advice, I recently bought a 2002 F250 CCSB with 218k and it has some issues. First, smokes white when first started, this tapers off to virtually nothing when warm. Second, if I let it shift into overdrive and let engine rpm's drop to 1200-1400 there is a definite miss, however this goes away if I put my foot into it a little bit. I am leaning toward injectors, but don't know where to start. Any ideas or tips about what I need for tools and how to test would be greatly appreciated!!

Run a scan tool on it see what comes back. When my injector went bad it didnt throw a code on my 04. Diesel parts are not cheap if you cant find the problem take it somewhere or google it.

Re: IA Newbie

well actually if you can find an edge programmer they can double as a scan tool and power programmer, same one i had before switching to a t/s chip.
