so we are starting to get a noise at around 50 mph, its coming from around the engine or the front right wheel i think
it sounds like a squeaking with vibration and sounds like something is falling off or is coming apart. it last from anywhere in between 1-6 seconds then goes away.
could it be a pulley thats loose or something? or even something in the engine itself? its going in for its first oil change tomorrow at 8400 miles. we are in eastern washington hunting however and dont want the truck in the shop for long with them trying to figure it out.
hmmm, ok well i will bring it up to the tech tomorrow.
thats possible but only hitting around 50 mph? it has happended at 30 mph too but its almost always around 53 mph. and i correct myself, usually happens between 1000-1500 rpm
Keep us posted. It could be the way it shifts that is keeping it above the rpm that your noticing the problem at until it goes into OD. Just a thought. You might play with the manual shift to see if you can make it happen more consistently. Hope its nothing serious
