How big if fuel tank y'all got? Just topped off at a little over half only took 11.2 gal up to the neck! Also... Any big downfalls of having 3.31 gears?

Re: Exhaust?

There seems to be no noticable differance between the 3.31 and 3.55 from everyone I talk to, just because they are such beasts. My sb has a 29 gallon

Re: Exhaust?

I believe the 6.7's have more probes than the 6.4's. Best to check out what you're getting into. I just did the banks monster exhaust on my 6.7 and I like it. Isn't the loudest thing out there and it isn't meant to be seeing as it's only a DPF-Back.

Cheers,
Buck

Re: Exhaust?

Yea, I am looking into doing the exhaust on my truck but have a few questions.
Anyone who has driven, seen, or walked around the 2011's know that they are very quiet.
I am looking for a bit more sound.

So? 4", dual 4", or 5"

Also, is it really worth the cost to do the 6' of pipe from the filter back for the power gain?

Sorry for the Noob questions. It's my first diesel...

Re: Exhaust?

not gonna get much of a sound difference at all from just a tailpipe... if the main thing you want it sound, cost of a dual exhaust is pretty extreme... and no its not worth the cost of the short peice of straight pipe they charge which would only be about $20 from an exhaust shop if that but to my knowledge afe and mbrp are the only ones making tailpipes only and both come with it and a little overpriced imo..... i got a full 5" straight pipe with tip for my 6.0 and 6.4 for less than $400....
