So who is hoping for a Federal shut down?

I am, just wish it would have the same affect on those in the House & Senate but of course they get to go unscathed.

It's pretty sad when our government is more worried about whether Planned Parenthood should be funded than our troops getting paid.

Planned Parenthood shouldn't even be an issue.....it should have never been funded in the first place....not due to pro or anti issues but rather it isn't the Fed's job to fund something like that.

Re: So who is hoping for a Federal shut down?

I certainly am not.

All too many families depend on getting paid for their jobs (not to mention our soldiers).............to take glee in a mud fight between political parties.

I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to go unpaid for their hard work.

I can't imagine the mentality of those who would wish that.

I also don't agree with Obama's threat to veto an extension for our military people to get paid.

As long as it contained just provisions to ensure our people in the military continue to get paid on time, I think Obama should pass it.

If there is a bunch of other junk stuck in it by the Repub's, trying to pull an end around........then shame on them too for playing with people's paychecks.

.

Never have so many politicians, screwed so many Americans...just to make one black person lose his job.

I hope it doesn't come to that.

You are exactly the type of person that this grandstanding by both party's, is going to affect the most.

Shame on all of them!

Planned parenthood isn't about just abortions, and I recall reading they can do it cheaper than the government can.

Seperation of Church and State!

why would you want to see thousands of people go without gettting paid? I for one will have to work without getting paid with the hope of being back paid. When the govenment shuts down the elected officials still get paid and the citizen suffers. the shut down will not save any money just cost thousand their pay check.
