Michigan and Snyder

I was wondering what my MI friends think about this.
I thought Snyder was a good choice, but now not so much.

I'll bite.
Yes its Rachel Maddow but the bill is what the gov says it is.
Sounds like other dictatorships or plutocracys from the past. I haven't read this bill for myself, but it wouldn't suprise me in the least, if what was inferred was accurate.
Eliteists live proudly on the right also. The gop has been trying to break the unions in mi for years, a financial emergency may give them the perfect excuse now.
You know those pesky workers are lazy and overpaid anyway.

Re: Michigan and Snyder

Ok Rick Snyder is doing what he said he would do when he was running for office and now everyone is pissed??? Michigan is a #### hole right now. It needs a serious change. I agree 100% with him being able to step into a town or district government that is in a financial trouble and getting rid of the dead weight. I come from a small town that is run by a bunch of old time folks that are running the school and village into a hole that it will never come out of. Times are tough and we need a business man in charge and that's what Michigan has right now. A lot of people are pissed right now, but you would get that no matter what. For some reason change is really scary to some people.

Re: Michigan and Snyder

Finally!!! A Republicrat has come out and said what it is really about.
One of his clones many years ago came out and said, "Just give them a pizza and a six pack, and they'll be happy", I can't remember the POS that said that, but yeah, it was said.
, a "REPUBLICAN" for bigger government?!?!?! No surprise to me.
I'm stopping now before I start babbling and spitting, but I need my shovel to help dig the moat around my county.
Oh, one more thing, can anyone say "Ruling Class"?

What a way to start the day, if all that is factual.

AMEN Brother! My old home town of Antigo, WI is basically the same way. The town board time after time refused to bring in big business and keep the status quo, everyone below them. CAT was to build crawlers up there, but instead went to Rhinelander. Two other big business were also shunned and now instead went to Wausau. Cheers to you! Happy mugs

Re: Michigan and Snyder

Here's the whole problem with public unions and collective bargaining.. Both sides are on the same team.

As far as any of the rest of it goes..
like eight more years of more Granholm-like policies would be any worse..

Re: Michigan and Snyder

I personally do not have a good grasp on the whole truth yet. I heard an interview that Snyder did last week where he was stating almost the opposite that this is appears. I really love MI and want to move back and invest in my home community, but some of this has me a bit nervous.

And no, Granholm was a waste. I would have given anything for Devos to have won last time.
