Angry Magazine Ban - Hide it in the FAA Bill

A local Colorado group I'm part of posted this today!

Quote:
From Dudley:

I've just received word from inside sources in the U.S. Senate.

Senate Democrats are planning to execute a sneak attack on gun rights as soon as TODAY!

Their plan is to sneak Carolyn McCarthy's Magazine Ban into law as an amendment to the Federal Aviation Administration Bill, a routine piece of generally non-controversial legislation.

And they hope YOU won't notice.

That's why you and I need to make our voices heard RIGHT NOW!

We need to let them know we're watching them like a hawk!

Please call Sen. Mark Udall at (202) 224-5941 and Sen. Michael Bennet at (202) 224-5852.

Make sure they know about this scheme and that they must oppose Carolyn McCarthy's Magazine Ban every step of the way whether it's attached as an amendment or not.

And make sure they know you're watching.

Thanks for taking action,

Dudley Brown
Executive Director
National Association for Gun Rights
*** Also if you are from Colorado email or call the listed representatives on this oversight of a State of Emergency SB53 error they voted to not correct last year restricting sales and transportation of Firearms. Voting today at 2:30

Rarely does the gov't trying to pull the sheeps clothing over a wolf shock me so I'm not overly suprised. This is why the second amendment is so important to all citizens, even if you don't own a gun.

Entrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States.

Re: Magazine Ban - Hide it in the FAA Bill

if everybody that was legal to carry a gun did so, i think there would be alot less crime.

Would you rob someone knowing they had a gun in their pocket, and they keep wanting to take this away from us why.

Whats doing this going to solve. Nothing the crimals will still have guns on them, but the rest of us to work adn pay their salvarys wont have anything to defend us.

Rant over

Re: Magazine Ban - Hide it in the FAA Bill

Has anyone ever stopped to think that if more people would have been carrying in Pheonix that the idiot shooting the gun may have only gotten off a couple rounds before he was full of lead?

Does this not make sense?

That's the problem right there (Yes this makes perfect sense). It's called common sense & the more gov. gets involved the less there is of it.

Phoenix?

Did you mean Tucson?

There was someone packing in that incident.

Google "Joe Zamudio."

He also said that he almost shot the wrong person.

Never have so many politicians, screwed so many Americans...just to make one black person lose his job.

Yep, and he didn't pull the trigger, because concealed carrying citizens KNOW when to shoot and when not to. You make it look like he's some idiot that "almost shot the wrong person". Have you ever been in that situation???

I HAVE, and there are MANY times, you will "almost have shot the wrong person", because there are split second decisions to be made, life and death. The threat was gone, and his mind "saw" the man with the gun, and he was VERY focused. he exectued perfectly, he saw the "threat" but didn't fire. How does it get any more perfect than that?
