Immigration And Our Food

I just watched "Food Inc."

If you have not seen this then you need to. Meat processing corporations bringing illegals over. Then when they are worn out they just go get more. WOW, I am not only sick to my stomach, but completely speechless.

2000 EX, fuel, air, and heat.

Re: Immigration And Our Food

A big hit could be struck against illegal immigration............ simply by severely prosecuting the companies that hire them.

Re: Immigration And Our Food

I haven't seen Food Inc. but it sounds a little like Fastfood Nation. I watched another show maybe on Sundance, ( I know I couldn't get much more vague here) that may have been called Our daily bread. The showed footage from all over the world demonstrating harvesting, slaughtering, milking ect. Almost all the workers I saw were killing themselves working for poverty or near poverty wages.

Not yet and I'm not sure if I really want to.

When it comes to how our food is processed, a "don't ask, don't look" ....policy might be best.

Sorta like Don't ask, don't tell. I feel exactly the same about food. The only option is to grow your own. That in itself is a full time job. Plus I would still have to work full time to pay the other bills.

Yah, for the most part its a town with 3 types of minorities there, you had your american citizens that grew up there-been there alll their lives, your rather large jewish community, and the rest was over run with mexicans. I grew up about 20 minutes east of postville, and as young and dumb as young bucks can be at times, we would go to different towns to strut your stuff so to speak and start fights, but we knew enuff NOT to go into Postville with all the stabings and racial crime that went on in the town!, it really now has turned around and turned into a nice little town!, most the mexis, and jews that live there are just hard working families who are just trying to make something for themselves.........still some #### raff, but they know theyre not well liked or welcomed......

Re: Immigration And Our Food

The best part of "Fast Food Nation" was Avril Lavigne. Too bad her character sucked ass.

Damn she's hot.

Total derail?

Yep. Sorry. Carry on.
